Oh my baby...

Miss Priss has had several quotes over the past week that I just don't want to forget.  So, here's a little more insight into M's mind...

At dinner we tell God what we're thankful for that day.  One night, both boys got themselves in trouble and sent to their room so dinner started without them.  M's prayer?  "Thank you for dinner with no bubbas"  Apparently they'd been getting on her nerves too.  :-)

We took some friends home from Bible Study this week so I had to add some extra car seats into the car, including the seat that is generally M's time-out chair.  The next time we got in the van, she told me I needed to take the car seat back upstairs so she could be in trouble.  I don't know what she's plotting, but the seat's still in the van and so far we haven't had to bring it up.  As I'm posting this online, I'm sure that will change soon.

Finally, it's the end of school holidays so I'm happily enjoying sounds from the Wii.  We'll read again next week.  

Insight into M's mind...

While trying on a pair of Mommy's shoes...
M: Can I wear these to walk to grandma's house?
Me: No sweetie, it's too far to walk to grandma's house.
M: I can clip-clop all the way there! (demonstrates...)
Me: I'm sorry honey, but grandma's house is too far away.  We can't walk there.
M: We can drive?
Me: No, it's too far to drive.  We have to fly there.
M: But we don't have flying WINGS!
Me: No, we have to go in an airplane.
M: But we don't have an airplane! Someone give us airplane so we can go to grandma's house.
Me: We're going to go in someone else's airplane to go see grandma.
M (in a panic): I stay with you mommy?!
Me: Yes sweetie, you will stay with me the whole time we're on the airplane.
M: We can go on a birdie! They have flying wings!
Me: Hmm...
M: I have my pink, butterfly wings?  I fly grandma's house!
She has now be running around flapping her arms in a panic that she's flying to grandma's house.  :-)

I think she's a little excited about our trip this summer!
