Happy Easter!

Well, we had a wonderful Easter, as I hope all of you did. I can't seem to get the boys to understand that Easter is all about Jesus and not the Easter Bunny, but they're still young. We had the city-wide egg hunt on Saturday with snow flurries for the second year in a row. We also thought it was humorous that we had a whiter Easter than Christmas this year. On Easter morning, we had an egg hunt in the apartment. The boys had completely opposite goals. X opened every egg he found, dumped the candy in his bucket and dropped the egg back on the floor. E grabbed every egg that he saw, open and closed. Both were equally excited about their achievements. I don't really have a lot to say, I just wanted to get up the family picture, so here you go!

The boys, especially X, were so excited to get to wear ties "just like Daddy!"

There is a very dim light....

On a completely different note, U had his full status today! I don't know what that means either other than it's step one of his 7 week process to being done! Yeah!

At least I got my picture...

So, yesterday I picked out the boys clothes so they matched and would coordinate nicely with each other and the Easter Bunny. We talked all afternoon about the bunny and they were VERY excited to go see him. That is, until we actually saw him at the mall. Then the screaming and climbing over the stroller began. When we left the bunny area, all was well again and E let me know that he'd go back to the bunny with Daddy. I didn't really believe them, so I let them pick out their clothes today. But, when Daddy came home we went back to the mall to try again. They were all excited, but I still didn't believe it was going to work. Well, as you can see, they did sit on the bunny's lap. Ulysses is just happy that he's still good for something at home - E's been on really big mommy kick lately.
