Working on it...

I figure I'm probably going to be giving this website out soon, so I should get in the habit of updating it. So, here's what we've been up to in our little corner of the world. In the last two weeks, we've been to Chicago twice to try to get all our paperwork taken care of for this move. All the while trying to keep the boys on a schedule so we don't all go insane. We stayed in a hotel for the first time with E and the first time at all since X was in a pack and play. That was an adventure. We're still recovering. I'm not sure what else we've been up to, but I'll post some pictures and just let you see.


The boys were just a little excited to be in a hotel. In case you don't know our children very well, that's E doing a somersault into the pillows.

We got to see the buffalo herd at FermiLab when U was in a meeting getting his research results blessed. I'm not sure if you can see them, but there are a few baby buffalo.



The boys rediscovered their swimming goggles. :-) I think that's enough pictures for one night. I need to get the computer back to U. He still has a thesis to write. I'll try to get back weekly!

STRESS!!!

So, U is officially NOT walking. :-( I'm sad, but trying to get over it. Having so many other plates that I'm trying to juggle is making it easier. I am frantically trying to get visa applications done, price stuff for OWB, price/organize stuff for the garage sale, plus keep the boys on their schedule and make sure that I'm spending time with them. U is frantically trying to finish his thesis and get his results ready to be blessed. Thankfully we are feeling everyone's prayers and our stress level is much lower than one might expect. So, I don't have a lot of time to write, but if anyone needs any anything, give us a call. We have plenty to get rid of!

Crunch time...

Well, we're entering serious crunch time. U is very busy trying to get his thesis done so he can turn it into his committee next week. I'm desperately trying to get a system of organization going so I can get my pricing done for the children's consignment sale and then a garage sale. And the boys are just going with the flow - absolutely loving all the "new" toys that I've pulled out to price. I just wanted to put in one cute kid quote from X this morning. I'm washing their sheets and blankets and when we came home from church, X went into his room and "Why are our beds naked?" Anyways, I thought it was cute. E is doing pretty well with potty training. I've given up on the plastics and pull-ups for now and am just letting him wear his underwear everywhere. So far, we haven't had any accidents out in public, but we'll see how that keeps going for us. I've gotten really bad about keeping the camera with me, but I'll try to get a park picture this week. Our weather is finally starting to turn nice! Yeah!
