Readjusting to "normal"

So, I don't really have a lot to say, but I'm trying to put something up about once a week. We survived all of our company last week. The boys are going through a little withdraw, but we're all enjoying a little more sleep with less people in the house. Deborah and I successful surprised my parents with pictures of all six grandchildren! Yeah! The pictures even turned out pretty good. Now U and I just have to figure out where we're going to put everything that was on our bookshelves. :-/ Oh well, hopefully everything will be getting into moving boxes soon. I think that's all for now! Here's the pic!

BIG Trouble...

Well, it's official. X is definitely my son and my mother's prayers have been answered. For those of you who need a little background, my mother has always told her children that her prayer is we will have children just like us. Well, when I was about 3, I got into my mother's make-up and made myself real pretty. :-) Today, X decided that he needed to decorate himself (and our king-sized quilt) with my permanent ink stamps. He is a very big mess and I'm trying to figure out how to save our quilt. Ugh. X received his first real punishment too. :-( Not my favorite part of parenting, but I'm pretty sure X is going to stop digging through Mommy's things when he's supposed to be taking a nap.

First Crush

So, we've decided E has his first crush. Yes, you read right - E!. He has become officially obsessed with Alecia from "Go, Diego, Go!". There is a page of his coloring book that has her on it and she now has to know everything that E does. He dances with her, shows her what he's playing with, he's even tried to come to bed with her! When we're out he becomes very concerned about "Where's Alecia?" We reassure him that she's home waiting for him. :-) It's very sweet, but we weren't expecting girl-craziness before age two!

February 1, 2008

We got a ton of snow last night! It's beautiful and the boys love it! Unfortunately, my camera battery died before I got any pictures of the boys playing. :-( I'm charging it now though so we can take pictures when we go back out with Daddy tonight. I'm not sure what anyone wants to read about on here, so I'm welcoming suggestions! As of now, I'll just add things as I see fit. Happy Friday Everyone!
